Crusade mourns loss of longtime friend

The WHAS Crusade for Children family is mourning the loss of a true friend and unsung hero. Reverend Jim Brown passed away after a valiant fight and an exemplary life.

Reverend Brown was a member of the Moral Side of the News for 30 years. Ministers from that panel decide where the money collected through the Crusade for Children is granted. It’s a task Rev. Brown took very seriously.

Always a kind word and a laugh were Jim’s trade mark. Our friend Jim will be missed.

Here’s more in his obituary as it appeared in the Courier-Journal.
